Liberty
Liberty is a beautiful thing that America is all about. We live our days to the fullest and chase our dreams. This country is a great one and liberty is everything to me. I am a patriot and take what pride I have due to me to live in the greatest country in the world.
For the nay sayers, I believe this world is going through a radical change for the better. Many people would argue this with me but look all around you. We are given more rights every day and are becoming united as one. Uncle Sam takes care of his own. Did you ever think we'd have cutting edge technology at everyone's finger tips? One amazing thing about my town is that the main park offers free wi fi to anyone and everyone each day (All the libraries here do too!) There is so much freedom and opportunity in this land that it's no wonder we settled here.
As a whole, we need to support others. This may be what we are lacking. Too many people here seem only concerned about their own lives, and no one else. There is so much strife in this world, and all I wish is for an end to it. A world free from pain, it's an impossible vision. Instead of blaming each other for the troubles of the world why don't we work together to fix it? As long as there is hatred, war and disagreements in a country there will never be unity. I suppose I'm the impossible dream type, slumbering with an idea of utopia.
What's ruined this town is the drug problem and no I don't mean the legal type. Our police force is too under maned to combat effectively the demon we call meth. The drug has taken away what was once normal people and introduced them into an underworld where insanity rules and dreams die. I truly pity any street drug user. Marijuana , tobacco and liquor are nothing compared to things such as meth, cocaine and heroin.
Liberty is due to everyone on earth, even if they don't deserve it. Little do we value in a world where people want more and more. Liberty is something we take advantage of. Be above the norm. Rejoice in the fact we are free, forever. Don't ever impose or infringe on your fellow american. Remember that person next to you wherever out may be has the right to live a life free from persecution. Don't give up on the American dream. Be a nation united and strong. Love our lady liberty because she loves you.

There Still is Justice: Happy Birthday U.S.A!
The United States, where a vast majority of the world's population lives, is by far the greatest nation on earth. Where we can be free, and not feel persecuted. Where each and every day we gain even more freedom. I am proud to live in this great nation, and I know my ancestors felt the same. A nation where I can be the writer of a new age of freedom.
America was born on that fateful day in July, on the year of 1776. All though the holiday of the 4th of July has lost it's meaning to almost all of the citizens of the United Stats, I have not forgotten. My great uncle did not die in vain, for he fought for this nation, and the world, as did my grandfather.(Both, in fact! How cool is that?) We are the first to respond in the world, have the most educated people, and are the creators of some of the world's finest technology. No country in this world can claim what America has, and never will. We are truly free.
Alas, though. We are a nation that is divided by beliefs and theological ideas. Can we just agree to disagree? I wish it was that easy, as egos get in the way. Never will man agree on one idea, let alone many. What we do need to understand that we are all Americans, no matter where we came from originally. We are one people, where we are melded as one. Love one another, and know the true peace that comes from being free and safe.
No other country would help the needy, much less have clean drinking water and talented doctors. Go anywhere else in the world, and you will miss your home land. Can you ever imagine living anywhere else? Places where they keep people in fear, and there is no jobs to speak of? How is a person to raise a family in those countries? Where eating each day is something that is not realistic?
The sky really did smile upon America. The diversity of our nation's towns and cities is even amazing. It is a pleasure to travel around this country, from coast to coast we are the nation with the most. I've traveled somewhat through the Midwest, and it is beautiful. The open plains suits me well. When I saw the national parks as a child, I was amazed. The sights of Yellowstone, from the geyser, to the thermal pools, the thunder storms, and of course the wild life, are all equally fulfilling.
So take.a moment this 4th of July to remember what the holiday is about. Be thankful for our forefathers and their struggle so long ago to make our wonderful country a reality. Remember, the spirit of a patriot is an indomitable one. Happy birthday to the U.S.A!
